Ant Hampton
Since 1999, Ant Hampton’s diverse work has mostly focussed on guiding performers and audiences through unrehearsed situations and interactive relations, often using automated devices. His three collaborations with Tim Etchells are participative experiences combining audio with different engagements with the page: text and silent reading (The Quiet Volume, 2010), archive photography (Lest We See, 2015), mark-making / erasure (Not to Scale, 2020, and presented in 2022 at International Forest Festival).
These and other of his ‘Autoteatro’ works continue to tour internationally in many languages, sometimes without anyone needing to travel; a paradoxical outcome (for an art committed to liveness and presence) which in turn informed his recent advocacy and research project, Showing Without Going – an Atlas. anthampton.com /showingwithoutgoing.live

David Bergé
In the work of David Bergé, audiences participate through hybrid and post-digital formats into a journey of silent Walk Pieces, time-based installations, and writing projects - spoken and published. Recent commissions and presentations include M HKA, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp, and SKD Staatliche Kunstsammlungen in Dresden. Maria Ristani
Dr. Maria Ristani is a Research and Teaching Fellow at the Department of English Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), where she teaches contemporary Anglophone drama and performance art. Since her doctoral research on the intrinsic musicality of Samuel Beckett’s ‘text-scores’ (completed in 2013), she has shared an active interest in the ways modern Anglophone theatre draws on and interacts with sound art and acoustics, researching, in particular, the fields of audio-based theatre, podcast drama and sound walk performances. Part of her work has been presented at conferences in Greece and abroad, and published in international journals and volumes.
