Ivana Müller

Through her choreographic and theatrical work as well as her performances, installations and texts, she creates poetics of language, questions the body and its representations, rethinks the politics of the spectacle and the spectacular, revisits the place of imagination and the imaginary, questions the notion of "participation", explores the idea of value and continues to be inspired by the relationship between performer and spectator. Her work is often experimental, radical and formally innovative. The idea of movement and the body remain central to her artistic interest. Although she performs in different forms, the theatre remains the main context in which she develops and presents her work. Her pieces have been produced and presented in multiple festivals and theatres in Europe, the United States, Brazil and Asia over the past 17 years.
Occasionally her work is also shown in the context of visual art, including the 2015 Venice Biennale, Garage Museum OfContemporary Art (Moscow), Hayward Gallery/Southbank Center (London), Kunsthalle (Düsseldorf), National Museum of Singapore, Zachęta - NationalGallery, Warsaw. As part of her artistic practice, Ivana Müller organises artistic and discursive encounters and collaborative practices, and frequently teaches in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, the Institute of Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen, the University of Paris 8, the University of Hamburg, the Zürich School of Art, Berlin and Brussels. Ivana Müller was born in Zagreb and grew up in Croatia and Amsterdam. She lives in Paris and works internationally.
 
Paraskevi Tektonidou
 
Paraskevi Tektonidou (Athens, Greece) is a dramaturg, dance researcher, dance reviewer, musician, and educator. She holds a degree in Flute and Musicology and a MA in Drama and Performance Theory. She is a doctoral student at the Athens School of Fine Arts, researching contemporary choreography and dramaturgy in modern Athens. Her research investigates the interdisciplinary and interartistic choreographic methodologies and the performative and dramaturgical aspects of choreography. In this context, she organizes weekly seminars at the Athens School of Fine arts focusing on the Greek and the international contemporary dance field and the crossing of choreography with other artistic mediums.  She reviews performances since 2016 on various online cultural sites and a newspaper, while her texts have been published in the international journal Critical Stages. She is since 2018 a member of IATC Greece. She is currently the new dance program advisor for the Athens and Epidaurus Festival.
